Production in Yasenka is divided into three departments according to the pharmaceutical form: semi-solid, non-sterile liquid and solid oral forms. Production begins in a modern space equipped with scales and a weighing chamber, which ensures the protection of raw materials and production workers. The chamber under which the weighing is carried out directs air towards the set of filters at all times, thus preventing cross-contamination of raw materials and protecting the operator during weighing. All production areas where the product is in contact with air meet GMP Class D requirements.
The line for the production of liquid forms enables safe and efficient production in a closed system.
The production of semi-solid forms takes place on a vacuum mixer with a rotor-stator homogenizer, which ensures production in accordance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices and production in accordance with the latest trends in the field of cosmetics.
A system for the production and distribution of clean compressed air and a system for the production and distribution of purified water are installed in the factory, which are validated and controlled.
Quality control includes a physico-chemical and microbiological laboratory, where analyzes of raw materials and packaging, intermediate products, finished products, compressed air, purified water and production conditions are carried out. The laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art qualified laboratory equipment and instruments that ensure reliable analytical results. Tests are performed according to specifications and analytical methods that are aligned with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia and regulatory requirements. The key processes of the Quality Control Laboratory are mainly the sampling of medicinal substances and preparations, the development of analytical methods, the implementation of analytical tests, the transfer of analytical methods, the issuing of analytical certificates and the monitoring of the stability of preparations. The basic task is to obtain accurate and precise analysis results, with which we can later monitor long-term results and possible changes.
The quality assurance department, as well as all employees of Yasenke d.o.o., is responsible for defining, implementing, monitoring and improving an effective quality management system in order to ensure the supply of high-quality products to the market. Quality system at Yasenka d.o.o. defines quality assurance through a series of written standard procedures according to the field of application.
Confirmation of the successful implementation of the quality system is the acquisition of a certificate of good manufacturing practice in accordance with EU GMP and Directive 2003/94/EC, the ISO 22000:2005 certificate for the production of food supplements and the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
